Styled in the Bizen-den, this meaty sword was finely crafted. There is no way it was forged in Ouei based on the condition of the nakago, so we are fairly confident this is gimei. That is not to say it is a poor quality sword. Its dimensions are hefty as you can see by the measurements with a gorgeous silver foil habaki. Unfortunately as with most of our "rescues" the sword has moisture damaged and was in the process of being repaired. It seems as if a proper polish was being done, but was not completed. The fittings for the most part as a mismatch but there is a gorgeous set of shakudo menuki signed by Naomasa. The tsuka was skillfully restored and re-wrapped by @cottontailcustoms
