This Wakizashi has an elegant sugata and strong sori. Due to the nature of its mounts and construction flaws, we recommend it as a practice and study piece. There is one fukure and mune-shinae present. That being said, there are signs of strong hada activity that can be brought out with proper polish.
The Fuchi and Kashira are antique and feture gold plating but have had heavy rust damage. The Tuska is modern and of poor quality with plastic Samegawa and it is not a proper fit to the Nakago. With a proper polish and some replacement Koshirae, this would make a fun project and an attractive display piece.
